About Jill
I am passionate about crafting unique artwork, and this website serves as a platform to display my creations. I frequently repurpose materials, painting over old canvases or frames. It's possible to encounter the occasional sticker, markings on the back, or scratches on the frames among the available pieces. Some artworks are framed, while others are not. However, all pieces come equipped with hanging mechanisms to ensure they can be easily hung and displayed. Each piece is my own work, and the images accurately represent what you will receive.
Should you desire a custom piece with specific colors, patterns, or materials, or if you simply have an idea you'd like to share, feel free to reach out to me, and I will do my best to fulfill your request.
Admittedly, I am not adept at the technical aspects of web management. My friend Colin has been instrumental in developing the site and is guiding me through the intricacies of the online world. The future direction of this site is uncertain, as are the developments that may occur. We have several ideas we're excited to experiment with, and I hope you will enjoy watching everything come together. This journey promises to be enjoyable, and we're delighted to have you join us.
Thank you for taking an interest in my artistic journey.

WTF is Nesting Willies? Where did that name come from?
Good question. While deciding on a name for this site, Colin recalled a nickname given to our good friend Michael Willis during his time at UW-Oshkosh. Colin, who was at a two-year guitar camp on Tranny Island, learned that Mike had unexpectedly passed away. Mike was an exceptional person and an incredibly talented musician and songwriter. You can listen for yourself here. Interestingly, the timing of naming this site coincided with Colin remembering that nickname after 20 years, as it suddenly came to mind. We both agreed that 'Nesting Willies' was a cool name, and that was that! We established one rule for this venture: in memory of Mike, we will donate a portion of sales to the charity created for Mike, which provides musical instruments to underprivileged children. We're uncertain where this small adventure will lead or if it will be profitable, but if it is, we'll honor Mr. Willis with a donation.
If you are looking for what ‘Nesting Willlie’ actually means, you are out of luck.
Anyways, cheers to ya Mike……thanks for all the great times, great music, and inspiration.
Rock and Roll,
Jill and Colin
